Tsunami in Indonesia kills at least 222 without warning
At least 222 people were killed, with hundreds more injured and missing, including members of a pop band, after a tsunami hit the coastline of west Java and Sumatra, Indonesia on Saturday.
There was no warning before the waves struck the Pandeglang district, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, head of public relations at Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency.
Nugroho said 843 people have been injured and 28 are unaccounted for.

Họ hông có hệ thống early warning ..... ít ra được gắn hệ thống này cũng có khoảng 10-15 phút chạy .....
Hồi trận Tsunami chục năm trước chết hơn 200 ngàn người . Mỹ có viện trợ dàn báo động này cho 1 phần biển miền Bắc Indonesia .... những vùng khác chưa có .

Hình như đây là trận thứ 2 đến với Indonesia trong năm nay rồi phải 0?
Gà còn nhớ Tsunami hit Thailand the day after Christmas in 2004. Lúc đó tụi này mới đi cruise về after Noel thì nghe tin tức nói tsunami mới happened. Bây giờ thì Indonesia lại bị hit a few days b4 Christmas.
