Mình chỉ thấy tức cười khi thiên hạ đua nhau mua giấy vệ sinh. Dịch cô vi đâu có giống dịch tả đâu mà cần chi nhiều giấy . Nhất là ở xứ bắc mỹ này giấy là món hàng ko bao giờ thiếu.

Chiều nay nhận email báo state wide shut down starts Wednesday. Không rỏ details shutdown ra sao, sợ tiệm đóng cửa lo đi mua đồ ăn. Lần đầu tiên trong đời chứng kiến nhiều shelves empty at Sam's, Walmart, và Aldi.

Hôm qua Duyên thấy parking lots của mấy tiệm bán food đông là Duyên không vô.  Hôm nay ở nhà không tính đi mua gì hết cái nhận 3 cái email từ trường làm mình cảm thấy lo lo rồi đi mua đồ.

America’s late-to-the-party response to the COVID-19 pandemic means shoppers have not been “given assurances that the supply chain issues would be managed in due course.”

They likely will be, just as the virus will be brought under control—eventually. Until then, humans will be humans and our eccentricities will be our eccentricities. Our panic buying, Alvord says, represents one thing we can control. In an exceedingly uncertain moment, it’s at least something.
