West Point faces worst cheating scandal in decades
The US Military Academy at West Point is dealing with the fallout from a major cheating incident involving 73 cadets, the largest cheating episode at the elite school since 1976.
Seventy-two of the cadets accused of breaking the academy's famed honor code are first-year cadets, referred to as the "plebe year," according to the academy. One student is a sophomore. All of them are accused of cheating on a calculus exam in May, when West Point had shifted to virtual classes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There are about 1,200 students in the first-year class.
The cheating accusations were first reported by USA Today.

Nhỏ cháu mới ra trường và đi làm IT cho hãng kia và họ requested her to get some certifications. Nó phải học online và thi virtual có proctor giám thị kiểm soát.
Lần đầu nó thi nhỏ giám thị có nói trước là proctor có thể request mình move cái camera show surrounding bất cứ lúc nào which was fair enough. However my niece did not pass the exam và cần thi lại.
Vài tuần sau nó thi lại gặp giám thị khác. Thằng này người Ấn Độ 0 giải thích gì lúc đầu nhưng my niece assumed giống như kỳ rồi nếu nó suspect anything thì sẽ request mình point camera cho coi. Nhưng thằng này tự dưng accused her of cheating because she looked down momentarily on the keyboard when typing. Nó nói nhỏ cháu chắc nhìn xuống để lén coi notes. Nhỏ cháu cải với nó là 0 có cheating nhưng nó 0 tin! He stopped her from finishing the test and failed her right there without even verifying to see if thêre was anything on the keyboard.
My niece was extremely upset since she studied really hard for the 2nd time. She had to call back the online testing place and had to wait on the phone for 4 hours and been transferred many times b4 they agreed to allow her to retake the test.
