I’ve tried planting from seeds and got nothing so I tried this method and they all came back. My coworker gave me some irises’ roots pulled from her backyard and miraculously they all lived in pots and ground. Can I see your garden?

My coworker told me about growing onions and garlics. She said it’s really easy. I’ve tried onions but not garlic yet. Did you plant all of those from seeds?

Re: Planting Onions
For green onion, you eat the top and keep the bottom, then just put in the ground and keep water everyday.
Growing garlic starts in 2nd week of October because the rain season so no need to water until Spring. The one you grow from home is a little spicy and taste better. Put it down like 2-3 in deep. A bag of garlic from Costco would product around 100 gloves that will last for 6 months. Make sure the soil is not wet, a lot of rain is good but the water must be drain, too wet will damage the garlic.

I like to plant them in pots inside the house bro just in case we move again then I can take them all with me.
Does the garlic need to grow roots before you put it in the soil? Do you have to peel off the shell after you separate them from the garlic clove?
