My gotu kola self pollinated and produced more baby plants. I separated them from the mother soil on 01/20/2022 and it looks like they’re doing good so far.

I took 1 to work as an experiment to see if it’ll grow faster under fluorescent light vs natural light.

I told my coworkers I will have several baby gotu kola for them next week and they’re all excited. heheh My trang trong cho vui thoi, chua chat gi ho biet an may medicinal herb nay. Lol

Are they indoor plant sis? How long did it take to grow them that big?

They have to stay indoors where we live. They can be put outside only in the summer month. They will die if it’s below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s so cute right?

My trang ko biet rau nay la rau gi. I gave it to the payroll manager since she came out with the “Vietnamese herb” chart a while back and asked if I was familiar with any of them. I did went over what I knew and promised to give her a baby gotu kola to grow if I get any. Ko ngo*…..it did.

She was the one who tore the herb article from a magazine from home and gave it to me. Minh thich no qua nen frame no’ -do’ sis. i bought her a rau ma juice to try and she loved it.  She was so happy when I gave her the baby rau ma. She said she’ll do more reading on this plant later since its medicinal use and health benefits sound very interesting.

That ra, I really like her since she’s super nice. Not because she always stuff my stockings with fun stuff every Xmas and always give me fresh cherries that she grow from her backyard and many other things that she do for us but I really appreciate her kindness and personality.
