làm TA thì như học 1 course vậy but it is counted as an elective course and grade is for regular class, 4.0/4.0, not counted as Hỏnor 4.5/4.0
Is it a good ễxperience? good extracurricular to put on college application?
My daughter's math teacher asked my daughter to be her TA next year in either Math or Computer Science class. Con gái muốn làm nhưng ko biết có ảnh hưởng gì ko, tại làm TA 1 course có nghĩa phải give up another AP class.

nó làm cho mình ôn lại bài và còn có tính kiên nhẩn.

Gà chỉ biết khi Gà con làm TA ở VTech thì được reduced room/board và trả stipend nửa.  Út làm RA (residence Assistant) ở UVA thì được free dorm và 0 phải share với người khác.

Còn HS thì Gà 0 rành.

Để em lấy AP class, rồi lấy exam, nếu được 4, 5  điểm thì đươc full credits at college (some colleges allow for 30 AP credits max = 1 year of study) , như vậy em sẽ có nhiều thời gian  on reserach etc, and graduate early or move on to MS or PhD  faster or she coudl take this advantage as a gap year for MD

Trong "hội" Math Honors Society or Sceicene Socity có "luật" riêng  cho các em là contribute some hours per week .  Nghia~ là sau ngày học  (about 3:00pm) các em dạy kèm như~ng em khác yếu hơn,hay kèm các em ở middle school (khoảng 2 giờ  từ 3-5, 2 times per week) .  Làm như vậy em vừa có EC credits vừa được AP credits .

Gà: I know at college level thì thường $$$ compensates for the task nhưng H.S là tính credits á Gà but I do not know how many credits but that doesn't matter, tại mấy đứa nhỏ học xong h.s thường dư credits. Lúc Gạo làm TA mấy năm mà chỉ có 1 sémester được dạy 1 course pre-cal in college thôi chứ còn nhiều là chấm điểm, correct homework thôi .
Lớp TA cô nói là cô rất thích cách my daughter ẽxplains math and computer science cho bạn học, cô nghĩ con Gạo will be able to help other kids who struggle with math.

Vụ EC credits thì con chị có nói, she told me she's part of a group effort to provide help including tutor to elementary kids.
Somehow I'm not too fond of AP courses. I think 4-year of college is fun, why cut it shorter I like college life, từ từ đi làm, nôn gì kakaka chắc tại chị dạng lười, ham chơi hơn ham làm . Con chị plans to take 10 AP during H.S, chị nghĩ that's pretty good # of AP.
