Thật ra sở trường của xe Nhật , xe Hàn là loại xe du lịch sedan kìa, chớ bước vô ranh giới hạng nặng như truck, thì xe Mỹ vẩn giữ chức "độc bá võ lâm " .

Motor Trend car of the year 1998 = VW Beetle..  LOLzzz  VW is a piece of junk. Also feel free go buy Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW. I don't have time and money to buy parts for those autos.


Also HOnda automatic transmission suck. They made their own transmission. Honda came from a motorcycle company, they know manual, but auto tranny is another world.

Same thing with Nissan CVT, it is horrible. Nissan sold their CVT to a lot of other manufactures.

Dodge Ram some model  years used Aisin tranny by Toyota because they can't make crap. Some Jeep Wrangler models also used Aisin tranny.


Subaru had blown gasket engine. Now they are recall for something else. Subaru should gave up the boxer engine. It is an old design, not efficient. Only Subaru and Porsche used boxer engine design. Subaru auto tranny also suck. Go with manual.

Next truck is the Tacomda TRD OFF Road or TRD PRo. That is, it will last me a lifetime. Easy to fix and replace parts . V8 engine is hard to work on, big parts, and not a lot space in engine bay. it is huge. 4 cylinders engines are like easy maintenance, space in the engine bay.

You can find me on the road cross country with my 20 year old Dodge truck that has outlived many toyota tacoma junks or nissan Frontier aluminum cans that are in the gravesites now...
