Shooting inside a Costco store leaves 1 dead and 2 hurt in Southern California
A shooting inside a Costco store Friday evening left one person dead and two others injured in Southern California, police said
A man is in custody after firing inside the store, Lt. Jeff Edwards of Corona police said. His name wasn't immediately released.
The shooting stemmed from an argument inside the store, but the relationship among the victims and the alleged gunman is unclear, Edwards said
Officers found four people "down" inside the Costco store: the suspect, the decedent and two injured victims, Edwards said. The slain person was not immediately named.
Among the injured was an off-duty officer from another department, Corona police said in a news release.
The alleged gunman and the victims were taken to hospitals, Edwards said. The extent of injuries is not clear.
Some people were also injured trying to flee the store, Edwards said.
Naveed Navi and Rochelle Flores were shopping for items for a barbecue when gunshots rang out, they told CNN affiliate KTLA.
They heard four shots and tried to escape through emergency doors, but they wouldn't open, the pair told the station.
"It's not very fun when you're scared and you're running for your life and you're trying to open a door that says 'emergency' and they don't open," Flores told the station. "Everybody was freaking out. People were falling over each other."
She described chaos and confusion as shoppers tried to flee through the front entrance. CNN could not immediately reach Costco officials.
"Everybody's running around," Flores said. "It's scary."

Vào Costco mà cũng gây gổ sao? Thường là hàng trong đó cũng khá nhiều thì đâu cần dành dựt nhau và mạnh ai nấy bốc đồ bỏ trong xe rất ít khi phải interact với những người khác để cải vả.

An off-duty officer killed a man who attacked him in a Costco while he was holding a child, police say
An off-duty Los Angeles Police Department officer shot and killed a man who attacked him inside a Costco in Southern California while he was holding his child, authorities said.
The unidentified officer was shopping with his family in the Corona store Friday evening and holding his young child. A man he did not know "assaulted" him, said Officer Tobias Kouroubacalis of the Corona Police Department.
The officer fired his weapon, killing 32-year-old Kenneth French and injuring two of French's family members, Kouroubacalis said in a statement. The injured relatives were taken to local hospitals, where they are in critical condition, Corona police said.
Kouroubacalis described the attack as unprovoked.
The officer suffered minor injuries and has been released from the hospital. His child was not injured, Kouroubacalis said.
"The Department has initiated an Administrative Investigation and is working with the Corona Police Department to learn more about the incident," Los Angeles police said in a statement.
Lt. Jeff Edwards of the Corona police told reporters just after the incident that police believed the shooting resulted from an argument.
"From my understanding, from some people we talked to, there was apparently an argument inside," Edwards said. "Some type of argument and ensued into a gun shot."
Officers arriving to the scene Friday initially believed there was an active shooter, Edwards said. Panic broke out as people tried to flee the store, leaving some injured in the scuffle.
Many left their personal items -- purses, cellphones, and backpacks -- at the store in an effort to get out quickly. Corona Police are now trying to find their rightful owners.

CS off-duty đang bồng con đi Costco mà có mang theo súng trong người sẳn để bắn người ta à? Bắn 1 tên chết rồi còn bắn thêm 2 tên khác trọng thương?

Ông cs bị injured, vậy chắc có bị attack nên lấy súng ra bắn để protect him and his kid. Ai xui gần đó bị trúng
tội nghiệp 2 nạn nhân in critical condition.

Theo báo viết thì 2 người bị trọng thương cũng là relatives của tên bị bắn chết. Có thể họ tính nhào vào cản ra hay cứu tên kia khi thấy bị bắn. Tên CS thấy nhào vào thì nả đạn luôn?
Gà wonder nếu là CS off-duty thì 0 biết có cần announced trước họ là CS nếu thấy cuộc cải vã got out of hand 0? Bảo đảm nếu mấy tên kia biết hắn là CS thì chắc sẽ 0 dám attack đâu và all thêse could be avoided.
