Kỳ này tụi tui ở Airbnb most of the time.  SIL tui đứng ra mướn tụi tui chỉ vào ở rồi mai mốt split up the costs thôi.

0 biết hồi đó Airbnb có rẽ hơn 0 chứ tui thấy bây giờ giá cũng đâu rẻ.  Nhà 3 phòng ngủ, 2 nhà tắm (có 2 chổ chỉ có 1 nhà tắm thôi) mà trung bình giá cũng $300-$400/đêm.  Đó là SIL tui book xa mấy cái National Parks chứ nhà ở gần đó còn mắc hơn nhiều she said.  Lái xe tới park entrance cũng upto an hour đó.

Có nhiều chổ charged đủ thứ fees hết:  Cleaning fees, COVID fees (for sanitizing), administrative fees, resort fees, còn có chổ bắt trả tiền insurance fees nửa.  Vậy mà còn để instructions lại là trước khi đi mình phải make sure bỏ hết khăn tắm dơ vào giặt xong thì bỏ dùm vào mấy xấy.  Sau đó thì start luôn load thứ 2 cho mấy cái khăn lau chân trong nhà tắm và dỉ nhiên phải start luôn rửa chén và unload ra khỏi máy luôn.

Thằng cháu tui nói "what đờ con heo why they charged us all these cleaning fees and expect us to wash all their towels/linens?"  Còn cái vụ trả tiền cho insurance cũng ridiculous nửa.  Thà nó built in the prices of the house mình 0 bực mình.  My nêphew cũng nói "I am tempted to break something and then tell the owners we already paid for the insurance"!  

Hôm qua thức dậy làm việc thấy okay. Nhưng tối hôm qua thức tới 3AM vì còn quen gời West Coast cho nên sáng này thúc dậy 8:30AM mà cứ muốn lăn ra ngủ tiep'

Hai tấm này đẹp và hạnh phúc tràng trề . Rất ý nghĩa .

I never use perfume, just only scented lotion. Ever since I got bitten, I don’t use scented lotion anymore. I use sunscreen and bug spray and the same soap as my husband but they always choose to bite me. I’ve even made myself less appealing by wearing boring color clothes and they still follow me. Maybe it’s the feminine deodorant I’m using. I should use my husband’s deodorant next time we go camping as a trial and error.

How’s Oregon’s weather? Any good places to eat?

During the time when we were in Oregon the weather was cooler in the morning and sunny/warmer in the afternoon but not excessively hot like in Utah. Our trip was more for sight seeing than eating so we did not really have an agenda for where to eat other than in CA (Thien Long Restaurant) & Seattle (Din Tai Fung, Pike's Clam Chowder).

You should not use scented lotion, shampoo, nor hair spray to minimize the bugs. Showering less often would also be helpful.

Actually, he got stung by a bee in the last camping trip. Ong dang om thang B and the bee put his stinger right through his shirt. He swat and brushed the bee off then stomped him to death. Good thing it was him and not thang B. I gave him the prescribed steroid cream I got from the doc to put on with an allergy pill and he was fine.

I don’t think I can go a day without showering or washing my hair.

We’ll be in Oregon camping in a few weeks. Even though it’s in the woods and we have food in our RV, we still manage to drive into town, hang out, and try different foods if there are any.

Yep, đi chơi chung nhóm thì phải get along very well và biết nhường lẫn nhau mới work được. Chứ đừng nghỉ đây là vacation của mình thì làm theo ý mình hết hoàn toàn!

Kỳ này đi chung trong xe minivan SIL & nhỏ cháu đều nói là dể bị motion sickness 0 thể ngồi băng sau chót được. Bởi vậy Gà sat back there the entire 18 days và nhường cho mấy người kia ngồi front & middle seats!

Nho nhu vay nen we saved up for our own RV. We don’t have to worry about fighting for the bathroom anymore and we can take our fur babies on trips with us from now on. Yay!!

Very nice! My bro also wanted to buy an RV but his wife is against it since she thinks most of the places they want to see might be too far and she would rather fly closer to those areas and then drive around instead of making long road trips from home!

May I ask if you bought your RV brand new and about how much does this costs? What much is hook up fees on average and about how MPH you get from this RV?

I was against the idea at first too. Hubby was persistent and I finally gave in and now loving it.

This is our first RV trial so we bought it used. Brand new (our model) is about 120k and used
which is a few years old is 50% off.

It’s a road trip for us. We don’t have to worry about hotel and flight -last minute cancellation inconveniences. If we’re in the mood for a 3 day weekend, we just pack up and leave. After the pandemic, parks are pretty booked up. You’d have to reserve 6 months out.

Depending where you’re going. Cali camp sites are more expensive than other states. Hookup is easy. Once you’re hooked up, you can turn off the generator and use the electricity and water freely.

Where do you flush sewage ?

If it’s dry camping with no hookup, you would have to do it when you’re home.

Most campsite has hookup and you can do it there.
