Lambda variant

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recently announced the 'Lambda' variant of COVID-19 as a 'variant of concern'. In its weekly bulletin from June 2021, WHO had mentioned that "Lambda has been associated with substantive rates of community transmission in multiple countries, with rising prevalence over time concurrent with increased COVID-19 incidence".
Known to scientists as C.37, the Lambda variant was first recognised in Peru and has been detected in samples dating back to as early as December 2020.
Currently, it is one of the most dominant variants in the South American country as it accounts for more than 80% of new cases.

What's the different between Delta Plus and Lambda variant? If new variants are popping up every few months, how will the vaccinations be "updated" that frequently?
I believe COVID has already existed prior to the spread in 2020. But they may not have mutated that quickly because the infection rates were lowered in less people?
Just wondering why we have so many variants in such a short time?

we have a lot of variants already but some spread more quickly
như Lambda có cuối năm ngoái , bây giờ nó đang sung sức

Hihi, Virus has to find its way to survive as Human too. Then, more likely human body has to adjust to living with it. And it is the nature of human growth that leads to stronger, and smarter.

mới coi news nói là kêu những người vâccinated đeo mask lại...nói tóm lại là mọi người đeo mask lại để mà đề phòng cẩn thận hơn. Variant giờ có trên 50 tiuể bang rồi.

Hồi sáng này Gà trống cũng nói là các chợ bây giờ 0 required đeo masks nửa. Nhưng Gà cũng nói mình tiếp tục đeo just in case bởi vì đâu biết mấy vaccine có protect against mấy cái variants mới hay 0. Mà bị rồi thì có thể ảnh hưởng tới sức khoẻ lâu dài.
Đeo masks cũng 0 phải a big inconvenience anymore after you got used to them.
