No religious exemptions for Quebec health-care workers' mandatory vaccination


MONTREAL -- There will be no exemptions for religious reasons for health-care workers in Quebec mandated to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 15.
Health Minister Christian Dube made the statement in a news conference Thursday that Quebec would not be following the federal government's exemption on religious reasons for public servants.
"It's a question of health not a question of religion," he said. "I don't understand the federal position. That's their choice. For us, there won't be an exception."

Religion nào cũng dạy là be good to other và thou shall not kill.  Đừng dùng religion as an excuse for their stubborness that could kill others because they don't wear masks and spread the germs.

Nhiều người cũng lấy lý do là it's their freedom to get vaccinate or not (or wear masks or not).  But you know what freedom comes with responsibilities and still have to be within the laws to protect the people.  You cannot exercise your freedom if it can kill other people.

You cannot say it's my freedom to own guns and I can do whatever I want with it.  You still have to follow the laws to obtain a license and keep the gun safe in certain ways.

Arnold Schwarzenegger used a good analogy when he said wearing masks/getting vaccinated is like traffic lights.  They are there to protect the people so that you don't accidentally run into each other.  You cannot say it's my freedom to decide to stop or go at the intersection but you need to obey the laws/traffic lights!
