Sick Building Syndrome
I’ve always felt nauseous when I’m at work but fine at home and thought it’s stress. It’s not in my mind or stress at all. It’s due to working on high buildings. People do get some kind of diseases or illness from working on high floor building.
I guess it’s a sign….to retire!!!!

Can you take a leave of absence with no pay for 3 months to stay home to test it out? By the end of 3 months, if you get bored, come back to work again; otherwise resign from that job.

Re: Sick Building Syndrome
My company moved, they let people go with the package. I was out of job, staying home, getting the full paycheck for 6 months, then the unemployment kicked in for 3 months. I was so glad I found the new job (my current job now) because sitting home doing nothing makes me crazy, I was so bored. I went to the local library, and the city hall looking to volunteer work, they didn't have any. (They did have volunteer work, but you have to commute.) So I just stayed home, worrying sick with the what ifs...What if I can't find a new job, what if I have to take a job with low pay, what if I have to commute to work, I hate to commute, what if I get fat and ugly if I stay home for so long... Now, looking back I wish I would relax a bit to enjoy my precious free time.
So I've tested it out my free time at home for 9 months, I didn't like it, still don't like it if it happens to me again. I rather work than stay home alone with nothing to do.
