I guess it’s not a frequent problem enough for a recall. I’m sure Tesla will fix it under warranty but as for taking the car back, hahaha, good luck with that wishful thinking. Lol

"I would greatly appreciate refund & keep the car as we lost trust and family is not feeling safe driving it back" = did they still want to keep the car and get a refund?  Or they meant to say Tesla can take the car back but just give them a refund.

Since the price dropped about 20%, do you think they are trying to get a refund and then buy another one for the cheaper price?

In Oct/Nov my bro's old SUV broke down and they were planning to buy a Tesla but the wait list was too long and they cannot afford to not have another car. My husband referred him to someone to do a quick fix and also passed the inspection so they did not have to buy the Tesla right away. So they luck out and just bought it at the lowered price this week.

There’s a tax credit for buying a new model Y but there’s a catch. It has to be a Regular Y vs the Performance.
