The New Zealand/Australia cruise was fine but we liked the Europe cruise better for thêse reasons:

1) closer to US - the flight time from VA to New Zealand was one whole day each way!
2) New Zealand/Australia ports were very green & pretty (lots of mountains/valleys).  However, they started to look very similar after a few ports.
3) Thê ports that we stopped by did not seem very commercialized.  Some ports were very small town that have less than 10K residents and the stores were closed by 3PM.  Not as much things to do in town even if we want to do some shoppings instead of just hiking!
4) In Europe each country seems to be slightly different and have different foods/history.  But on this cruise it was stopping many different ports but for only 2 countries so very similar.
5) We were supposed to have 3 seadays but lost 1 port due to bad weather.  So we ended up with 4 seadays consecutively which seem very long for me.

This was our first time cruising with Norwegian and the foods were good.  Their speciality dining steakhouse was excellent.  The staff/services were excellent too.  I mentioned to our waiter we did not like the chinese restaurant on the ship and 5 minutes later a Manager came by and asked us to give specific feedbacks why we did not like it.

My SIL was looking for plain yogurt to eat for breakfast and they only had fruits yogurt.  The Manager went in the kitchen to look for just plain yogurt for her and every morning they give her one!
